Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to give her 147 million followers an update on her much-anticipated new studio album.

‘I’m currently in the studio and it’s going really good,’ Selena revealed while chatting recently during a Live Instagram Story. Being her first studio album since 2015’s “Revival,” she was also very open and honest about the ongoing process and the pressures that come with that.

Selena had previously announced that her solo album was done back in August and that it had been in the works for two years and focused on personal things.

We told you before that “Captain Marvel” opened with a whopping $153-million domestically. The movie just surpassed $500-million in ticket sales worldwide in less than a week, and it should have no problem ruling the box office this weekend. One of your favorite shows from childhood is heading to the big screen and an Academy Award winner is leading the way. Anne Hathaway is set to star in a new “Sesame Street” musical, where she’ll be singing along with our old pals Grover, Elmo, and Bert and Ernie.

The popular children’s series has been on TV since way back in 1969 and they’ve had other movies over the years, like “Follow That Bird,” but this new musical is sure to be big.

But we’re going to have to wait a while to see it. The “Sesame Street” movie will start shooting in June and won’t hit theaters until January 15th, 2021. Until then, we’ll just have to sing and dance with the TV show, which will celebrate its 50th season this fall.

Lady Gaga went ahead and shut down rumors that she’s pregnant by revealing that she has a new album on the way. In a tweet, she confirmed that she is at work on her sixth album. She wrote, “Rumors I’m pregnant?”  “Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.” The “LG6” is, of course, in reference to “Lady Gaga 6,” the highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s “Joanne.”

Pregnancy rumors have been flying once it was known that Gaga and her fiance Christian Carino had broken things off. Of course, fans began to speculate that she was actually in love with Bradley Cooper. Neither of those things is true.

Actress Lori Loughlin is out of jail after facing a judge for the first time over charges in a sprawling college admissions scam officials have dubbed “Operation Varsity Blues.” A judge in Los Angeles set bond for the “Full House” star at one-million-dollars, which she has posted.

As we told you yesterday, Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying 500-gran to get their daughters into USC as recruits for the school’s rowing team, even though neither participated in the sport. They’re among 50 people – including Felicity Huffman – also charged in the scandal. Initially directed to give up her passport, the judge relented to allow Loughlin to work in Vancouver – where she’s currently shooting.

One of the questions on everyone’s minds (aside from making plenty of jokes): How the heck did the Feds figure this out in the first place? By accident. Apparently, agents were working an unrelated securities fraud case, when they received a tip about $400-thousand bribe of a coach at Yale. Once the coach was “contacted” by authorities, the chips began falling.

Now that Kim Kardashian has tackled prison reform, she’s setting her sights on ending the death penalty in California. She’s on-board with Governor Gavin Newsom’s plan to suspend the practice. The way she sees it, “Racial bias and unfairness run deep throughout the justice system, but especially when it comes to the death penalty.” She went on to say, “We should not be okay with the risk that an innocent person could be executed. I hope we can turn toward better solutions that focus more on healing victims of trauma and prioritizing fairness and justice.”
