Look up! It might be your last chance to see ‘The Incredible Hulk’ Comet [watch]

A comet is flowing through the Earth’s sky this week, but blink and you might miss it. Lucky stargazers who look up tonight will have the best chance to glimpse the giant flying rock, dubbed the “Incredible Hulk” because it’s huge and bright green. The comet, also known somewhat less affectionately as C/2017 S3, was discovered in September 2017 and is believed to have broken up in July as it neared the sun.

What’s left is an electrified gas cloud that’s glowing green in the night sky, conditions permitting (hopefully these clouds will break up). The comet was initially expected to be visible to the naked eye, though hopes of that seemed to be fading. In the best-case scenario, another eruption from the comet will make it brighter. As long as it doesn’t disintegrate, we should have the chance to see it through the middle of next week(8/15), but bring binoculars!! (LiveScience)
