Demi Lovato has signed on to co-host Facebook Watch’s virtual Coming Out Day 2020 special. Demi, who is openly bisexual, will front the one-hout event today. They will recognize coming out stories and offer up support to those who are in the process of opening up about their sexuality and others who still feel the time isn’t right to share their identity or orientation. Coming Out Day will be recognized on Sunday. Demi will be joined by LGBTQ activists, allies and entertainers as they share powerful testimonials. Katy Perry found leaving newborn daughter Daisy at home tough as she returned to work on the forthcoming season of American Idol. Daisy Dove was born in August and just over a month later, Perry is back to work on the show. She admitted in a recent interview it’s been tough and struggled to leave her new Mommy life behind to go into work. She’s grateful for the opportunity and job, it’s just been hard. However she knows Dad Orlando Bloom is doing a great job and Daisy is in good hands.
Artists are pulling out all the stops to get voters to the polls. Ariana Grande and Lorde tried to shake some voters loose by offering up new music. Both singers took to Instagram to tease fresh tracks while reminding their followers to exercise their right to choose their nation’s next leader. It’s been a year since Grande dropped her album thank u, next. Meanwhile Lorde hasn’t released any new music since 2017 and has kept a low-profile on social media until now.

Conan Gray called into The Late Late Show with James Corden to spill the tea on the inspiration behind his hit single Heather. He admitted the anthem almost didn’t make the cut for his debut album. He said he was embarrassed because it was about this girl from his high school who barely knew he existed and he was jealous of her. He wasn’t sure if anyone would relate to the track but later learned he thinks everyone has a Heather in their life and thank goodness he did or we wouldn’t have that song!
