Shawn Mendes, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby and Bad Bunny have been added to the line-up for the 2020 American Music Awards, which is set for Nov. 22. All will offer world premiere performers. These stars join the previously announced BTS and Dua Lipa. This will be the fifth consecutive year that Mendes has performed on the show. The AMAs bills itself as the world’s largest fan-voted awards show. You can watch it Sunday, November 22 at 8PM on ABC. Voting is now open for all AMA categories. Justin Bieber is set to perform at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards. Bieber is nominated in seven categories and will take the stage to perform his top hits. Chloe X Halle will also perform on the show. Bebe Rexha, Machine Gun Kelly, and Tyler the Creator will serve as presenters, along with Tiffany Haddish, Armie Hammer and more. Demi Lovato is hosting! Gerard Way took to Instagram on Sunday to share a cryptic, captionless photo of what appears to be a statue draped in darkness and light motion. Fans began buzzing over what the post could mean and whether or not it’s My Chemical Romance related. The group performed a much anticipated reunion show back in December and were scheduled to tour this year before the pandemic put the entire touring industry on pause. The band has yet to reveal if the canceled reunion tour was meant to be paired with new music. MCR’s last studio album was released back in 2010. Check out the post here. 

Britney Spears fears her father and will not resume her career so long as he has power over it her attorney said in court yesterday. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny declined to suspend James Spears from his central role in the court conservatorship that has controlled his daughter’s life and career for 12 years as was requested at the hearing. But the judge said she would consider future petitions for his suspicion or outright removal, which plans to be filed. Britney has been on an indefinite work hiatus since early 2019 and has not spoken to her father in a very long time. Spears says she’s fine but fans are worried. Learn more here.
