The Weeknd will headline the 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show on February 7. The event follows the 2020 edition that was headlined by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. The Weeknd said we all grow up watching the world’s biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position. I’m humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year. Of course, there are issues that could complicate the specifics surrounding the Halftime Show and Super Bowl as a whole, stemming from the pandemic. Nothing has been announced regarding the Super Bowl or Fan attendance at the event just yet.

Harry Styles has become the first solo male cover star of Vogue in the magazine’s 128-year history. For the December 2020 issue, Styles talks about his gender-bending fashion, showing it off by wearing a Gucci dress on his cover. Although Harry confessed his lockdown look consisted of sweatpants, he says his childhood desire to dress up in fancy clothes hasn’t gone away. He found inspiration early on from musical heroes like Prince, David Bowie, Elvis, Freddie Mercury and Elton John, all who he describes as showmen.

BTS were the big winners at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards, but you’d never know it from watching the show with aired last night. The four categories that BTS won weren’t presented on air, so the group was scarcely mentioned. The same is true of Ariana Grande, who won 2 awards. Billie Eilish is returning to the American Music Awards stage for the Sunday, November 22 ceremony. This time she’ll be delivering the world-premiere performance of her brand new song Therefore I Am. Last year Eilish went home with two awards and she’s nominated again this year for 2 more. Eilish joins a long list of celebrated artists who will be performing at this year’s ceremony.
