This is not what dreams are made of. A Lizzie McGuire revival at Disney+ isn’t going forward. Hilary Duff announced the project’s end in an Instagram post writing that the star just didn’t align for the project. Duff said she’s been so honored to have the character of Lizzie in her life. She just wants any reboot of Lizzie to be honest and authentic to who McGuire would be today. It’s what the character deserves. Despite everyone’s attempt, just no agreement could be found. Hey now, this is what 2020s made of.

Elf stars Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel were joined by others filling in various roles during a live script reading of the movie on Sunday, raising money for a cause. Comedian Ashley Nicole Black hosted the event and also took part in the reading, noting that she’d seen the movie so many times she wasn’t using a script. Will and Zooey reprised their rendition of Baby, It’s Cold Outside during the event. The goal for the event was to raise $400,000 and they did it too, $402,966.
