Miley Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts isn’t the only thing she’s rocking this holiday season. ABC announced she will be performing for its Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021. Cyrus joins multiple performers who were already announced that includes Jennifer Lopez who will sing right before the ball drop, Billy Porter, Nelly, Megan Thee Stallion and Cyndi Lauper are also joining the fun.

Anddd just like that, the show also has another exciting performer to usher in a new year! Doja Cat is joining the list of musicians who’ll be playing during the annual New Year’s Eve celebration on ABC. Doja is part of the West Coast lineup and will be performing from the Hollywood party where Ciara is hosting the festivities. Additional acts will be announced in the days leading up to the celebration. 16th year Ryan Seacrest is hosting and 49th year of the show. The fun starts at 8PM on ABC. Unlike previous years, just like everything else, it’s going to be different. This year’s celebration won’t be open to the public due to the ongoing pandemic.

P!nk is definitely ready to move on from 2020. She took to Instagram to share a laundry list of health issues she’s experienced over the past year including a battle with COVID-19. Pink said as if surviving covid wasn’t enough for this poop sandwich of a year! Well, I got my stitches out from drying that wine glass that went well. Then I recovered from my very first staph infection for no reason (cry for help?) (right knee was lonely?) so I thought I’d fracture my ankle. 2020 is just the gift that keeps on giving and to say she’s ready to kick this year to the curb is an understatement. See her post here.

Perhaps you’ve seen the Nickelback Photograph meme? So many times, right? Chad Kroeger gets it and he’s here for you. In fact, he leans into the jokes in a new Google Photos ad that parodies the video. The ad opens with Kroeger re-creating the many-memed bit where he holds up a photo frame (this time it’s a smartphone) with a snap of himself and the band’s producer. This time Chad spends his time scrolling through his photo archive, wondering in the fresh lyrics why he took so many food pics and more.
