Sooooo if you didn’t know The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards happened last night. Only the biggest night of music. And it was different this year. For one, whole new setup, not near as many people there cuz you know, pandemic. The host Trevor Noah took the first 6 minutes to essentially explain the logistics of this year’s show too, giving you a little behind the scenes guide. But you know what? It worked and ladies pretty much ruled the night. Beyonce won four Grammys, pushing her career total to 28 and making history, she is now the woman with the most. Another leading lady of the night was Meghan Thee Stallion and some other dominating women included Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa. Find the full list of winners here!

And there were some great performances too! Harry Styles kicked off the show with a  jazzy rendition of Watermelon Sugar. And I know his fans are thanking him for not wearing a shirt and instead that green boa. Megan Thee Stallion turned up the dial several notches. She brought us Body and Savage, Cardi B showed up for a wild performance of their not so family friendly hit WAP. Dua Lipa served up some pink looks and great moves in her set. Silk Sonic left the door open, also did a tribute to Little Richard. Swift did a beautiful medley, Doja Cat gave us a future look at Say So and Posty went goth with Hollywood’s Bleeding and we loved them.

Zayn fired off at the Recording Academy once again, this time on the night of the Grammys. He tweeted The Recording Academy is moving in inches and we need to move in miles. I’m keeping the pressure on and fighting for transparency and inclusion. We need to make sure we are honoring and celebrating creative excellence of ALL. End the secret committees. Until then…F the Grammys. Earlier in the week, he criticized the awards show over its voting process. Zayn has yet to receive a Grammy nomination during his career and his most recent album was not eligible for this year’s awards due to its release date.

Jennifer Lopez is mocking recent headlines about her rumored split with Alex Rodriguez. She took to social media on Sunday to share a cryptic video in which she references the flurry of news reports about her supposed breakup with A-Rod, which the two of them have both denied. On Saturday, less than 24 hours after news of the couple’s split spread like wildfire, Lopez and Rodriguez released a joint statement announcing they’re staying together and working through some things. And in the meantime, J Lo isn’t worried about your blog or inaccurate headlines. Check out that video Lopez posted over on the weekend on her TikTok page.
