Twenty One Pilots are bursting out of lockdown with a new album titled Scaled and Icy, due out on May 21. The 11-track effort was previewed last week with the single Shy Away. This is the duo’s first new album in three years and it will be accompanied by their first ever global streaming event Twenty One Pilots—Livestream Experience. The concert will screen on the album’s release day at 8PM. Give their new one Shy Away a listen:
AJR has announced a 27 date US tour set to kick off in April 2022. The OK Orchestra Tour will be in support of their latest album of the same name. Launching on April 28 in Dallas, the tour also includes a couple PA dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10AM.
Justin Bieber performed at a downtown LA elementary school last week during Baby2Baby and Amazon’s welcome-back event, which Kelly Rowland also attended. The Biebs performed Intentions, Holy and some more singles in front of the young students. Baby2Baby is a charity, providing children living in poverty all the basic necessities. Rowland handed out school supplies and toys to the children. So California schools just now starting to resume in-person instruction, making a step in the right direction.
Tick Tock, Kesha! She may be a few weeks late, but she finally check out Caitlyn Jenner’s cover of her hit Tik Tok on The Masked Singer. Kesha posted a video of herself to none other than TikTok. She watches Jenner cover the song in a phoenix costume and said live for a cover and live for this outfit but eventually pulls the garment she was wearing over her face, seemingly unable to take much more of Caitlyn singing her song. Lil harsh but understandable. Jenner was unmasked during the second episode of this season five.
