The Met Gala was last night, and we GOTTA talk about some of the looks from the night. If you don’t know, the Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City, and this year’s theme was American Independence. Pete Davidson sported a simple black dress and white blazer as a tribute to his father and others who perished on 9/11. Billie Eilish looked fabulous in her peach-colored ball gown that was actually inspired by Barbie. Lil Nas X had not only one, but THREE gold outfits, and he rocked all of them. Lastly, Frank Ocean brought a green robot baby, that kinda reminded everyone of Shrek.

HBO is developing a new Batman spin-off series about none other than The Penguin. Colin Farrell is set to play the lead role, but no deal has been set in place. If everything goes according to plan, the series “would supposedly delve into The Penguin’s rise to power in the Gotham criminal underworld.”

Bo Burnham is an Emmy winner! His show Inside that felt more like a work of art than a comedy special won the awards for variety special writing, music direction, and directing at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. You’ll be able to watch the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards this Sunday.
