Dolly Parton and Kelly Clarkson teamed up for a new duet version of “9 to 5” for the Still Working 9 to 5 documentary set to premiere on September 16th. The song is definitely a new version, it’s been reimagined into what is described as “a melancholic yet inspirational anthem.”

Meghan Trainor dropped a new song that all moms can relate to. The song is called Don’t I Make It Look Easy,  which she said is all about her experience learning to be a working mom. She said it’s a lot like social media, where on the outside it looks like it’s easy, but in reality she was struggling and feeling overwhelmed. Her next full album is set to be released on October 21st. 

Taylor Swift is looking to try out a new career path – directing films! This past weekend, she screened her short film for “All Too Well” at the Tribeca Film Festival. She stated that she would love to commit to a film if the right opportunity arises because she loves telling stories in that way. 

Patrick Dempsey crashed Ellen Pompeo’s interview on the red carpet the other night. While she was in the middle of the interview, Dempsey grabbed the microphone and decided he was going to interview her! Referencing Grey’s Anatomy, he asked his former onscreen wife, “How is the new season? A lot of new faces on there. Are you going to do 30 seasons?” Pompeo laughed and said, “No, I’m not going to do 30 seasons, I’m going to do eight episodes.”
