Miley Cyrus might be releasing new music next year! She apparently has been teasing new music all over Los Angeles. Photos posted by Pop Crave on Friday show she’s got posters all over the city that say “New Year, New Miley.” Not only that, but she also updated her Spotify and Twitter bios with the same phrase. 

Speaking of new music, Olivia Rodrigo dropped “The Bels” on Discord this past Friday. Apparently, the song is an original holiday song of hers that she wrote when she was just five years old. With the post of the song link, she wrote “on the 12th day of livmas, olivia gave to us…. THE FULL VERSION OF THE BELS!!!! happy holidays and thank u for celebrating #12daysoflivmas with us.”

Avatar: The Way of Water hit theaters this Friday…and it seems it didn’t do as well as expected. The film was projected to make $150-$175 million at the box office, but it fell short by making $134 million. The film needs to make $2 billion at the box office in order to break even. 

Austin Butler was the host of SNL this past weekend, and he took his opening monologue to honor his late mother. “My mom is no longer with us,” he said, choking up, “But I’ve been thinking about her a lot this week, just imagining how proud she’d be of her son who used to not be able to order food for myself at a restaurant is now standing on this stage.”
