The amount of the donation was not disclosed, but the Detroit Free Press reported it as “generous.” The food bank posted about it on Friday, sharing a quote from Swift herself, “No matter what happens in life, be good to people.”

Speaking of last week, apparently Kelly Clarkson gave a random acoustic performance of her new song “me” in a coffee shop in New York City. She led an entire chorus in their rendition of the single, and a bystander told ET Online that it felt “like a New York Broadway show.”
