We previously reported that the Twitterverse took issue with Kate Hudson being announced as the new ambassador for WW, aka Weight Watchers. She got some hate for not being a good role model for weight loss, since she’s been in shape most of her life (even in between pregnancies). Now the actress has spoken out to defend her role.
Hudson appeared on NBC’s “Today” yesterday to address the backlash. Since the company has now rebranded itself with the tagline “Wellness That Works,” the actress noted that she didn’t team up with WW with the goal of only losing weight from her most recent pregnancy. Instead, she wants to “stay healthy, focused and balanced,” especially after “having three babies.”
Hudson also said that the company is “a community for people to understand their health better.” “To me, [WW] is all about support,” she noted. “You always need a support system, whether it be a trainer, a best friend an app.”

Forget Keto, Chris Pratt is taking part in a new diet trend. It’s called the Daniel Fast, a 21-day program that involves praying and fasting. The actor has taken to his Instagram story to give fans an update on his progress on the “partial fast,” encouraging them to “check it out.”
What’s it all about? Basically, you can only drink water and eat foods grown from seeds – that includes any form of vegetable, fruit, grains, legumes and nuts, along with healthy oils like canola, olive and peanut. Meat, animal and dairy products aren’t allowed, as well as deep fried foods and sweeteners.
According to the Daniel Fast website, it’s based on “the fasting experiences of the Old Testament Prophet.” Pratt jokes that he will “probably be hallucinating” by the time he starts doing the press rounds for the “Lego Movie 2,” which will coincide with his fasting schedule.

He got it done at Bang Bang Tattoos in New York City, which is known as being celeb-friendly. Jon Bang Bang – the shop’s owner – explained why the “Back to the Future” star got that particular design – “He spotted this turtle with a chunk missing from its fin and a scar on his face. And that turtle let him swim with him for about a half an hour. He made a transcending decision right after that. So that turtle was pretty significant to him.” After getting inked, Fox took pictures with the staff and signed memorabilia for them. Check out the tattoo below.
“Aquaman” hashit even more milestones since becoming the highest-grossing DC film of all time. The superhero movie starring Jason Momoa and Amber Heard has become the biggest-grossing movie that isn’t a Disney or Universal title since 2014’s “Transformers: Age Of Extinction” by making more than $962 million worldwide. It’s on track to cross the $1 billion mark this weekend, which would make it the first film that isn’t Disney or Universal to do so.
