Fans of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” still have to wait a few more weeks for the series to return on July 4th, but before it “kicks” off, Nike has a new sneaker and fashion line inspired by the show. The Nike “Stranger Things” collection hits stores on June 27th and along with some sweet retro-looking sneakers, there are ‘80s gym class-inspired tees, hoodies, and more.

“Stranger Things” is set in the ‘80s and the characters often sport vintage Nikes and styles of the decade and this collection captures it. The iconic Cortex, Blazer, and Tailwind sneakers are featured and come with Hawkins High and Nike x “Stranger Things” logos as well as “Property of Hawkins Athletic Dept” labels on some items. The school from the show’s orange and green school colors are used in designs, along with its tiger mascot.
We acknowledge that several shipments from 1985 have gone missing. Please call 1.800.561.1985(🇺🇸) with any info. pic.twitter.com/Lm5LYr5wio

Nike teased the line with a clever viral campaign that reflects the show’s plot. They tweeted that several shipments heading to Hawkins High Athletic Department disappeared back in 1985 and now the long-missing items are showing up and that’s what we see in the collection. It’s cool and a little creepy and a great way to launch the third season.
