Recognizing national concerns over the spread of the coronavirus, Live Nation is instructing its touring shows to prepare to return home. That also goes for AEG tours too. Some select shows will play out over the next few days but the remainder of the concerts will be postponed. Tours affected include Billie Eilish, Cher, Kiss, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton, Michael Buble and many many others.

Now some good news. The Killers are releasing a new album on May 29 and they are getting set to head back out on tour later in the year, hopefully COVID-19 will no longer be an issue at that time. The Imploding the Mirage Tour is making a stop at the Bryce Jordan Center on October 6 with special guest Johnny Marr. Tickets go on sale next Friday at 10AM on ticketmaster.com. Butttt we’re giving away tickets here on POP! So be listening for more details on how to win very very soon!

The rapid spread and mass media coverage of the coronavirus has sparked anxiety worldwide, as people try to their best to stay calm and safe amid this pandemic. But don’t worry too much because Lizzo is here to easy your mind. She took to Instagram yesterday to announce a live Instagram meditation. She went live this morning to do a mass meditation. She said we need healing from fear. If you with me, join me with a high vibration and any sanitizer you got!

While Lizzo is looking at the positives some artists are a bit concerned about upcoming show, more specifically when it comes to meet and greets. Artists like Kiss, Niall Horan, Shinedown and more are all rethinking one-on-one fan interactions as the virus spreads. Do they still wish to meet their fans? Absolutely but it’s just not safe to have their meet and greets right now. With almost all shows being postponed, artists shouldn’t have to worry about any meet and greets for several weeks.
