Taylor Swift made another strong political statement, joining a growing legion of artists speaking out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and urging Swifties to push for big, fundamental change in the American political system. She tweeted racial injustice has been ingrained deeply into local and state governments, and changes MUST be made there. Swift’s support comes amid a growing wave of backing for the group and another growing list of artists like Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello and a number of others in encouraging fans to get out and vote.

As cinemas prepare to open across the US, Sony announced that The Broken Hearts Gallery will be released on the big screen July 10. The rom-com will be the first new title from a major Hollywood studio to open in theaters since the pandemic forced them to go dark. Selena Gomez serves an executive producer on the project.
Lizzo clapped back at body shamers in a recent strongly-worded TikTok video. The clip shows a montage of Lizzo exercising, trying on lingerie and showing off her curves in a swimsuit while offering some free advice to her haters in a pointed voiceover. Sia always sets the bar so high, it’s sometimes hard to see it. Tuesday night, she raised her game once again with an at-home performance of Together for The Tonight Show, featuring her long-time partner in crime Maddie Ziegler. It’s a colorful trip with interpretive dancing, cuddles, bubbles, flying pancakes and wild wigs. Together will appear on Sia’s upcoming album and film projects, both titled Music and set for release in September.
