Ariana Grande is keeping things intimate with her new video In My Head, which premiered on Vogue yesterday. With Grande dancing around in her own little, brightly-lit diva box, the star is literally taking us inside her mind. It’s no secret Grande loves to play with trippy effect and there’s no shortage of them this time around, but now it’s a little more intimate, as she sings some of her most vulnerable lyrics to date.
Camila Cabello took to social media yesterday to share a cute photo with her fellow chart queen Billie Eilish. She wrote the caption “Sweet Human,” alongside a group of green heart emojis to match Billie’s sweatshirt, nails and glasses. It was just last year, Cabello shared via Spotify’s Instagram Story that the one female artist she’d love to collab with is Eilish.
Aerosmith rocked the History Channel Monday night with an appearance on the latest episode of American Pickers. The show’s hosts, Mike and Frank, spotted the band’s old tour 1964 van on a property in Massachusetts. Mike and Frank restored the van and drove it to Las Vegas to show the legendary rockers their former traveling companion. Memories and stories were shared. You can watch the episode online. Tegan and Sara have announced the release date for their ninth album, Hey, I’m Just Like You. Due out September 27, the album will be a return to their former punk rock sound, with pop hints. Meaning: there will be guitars folks.
The iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup just got hotter. iHeartMedia announced yesterday Marshmello, Hootie and the Blowfish, Darren Criss and a few others have been added to the star-studded lineup. Other major acts set to take the stage in Las Vegas include Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons and even more! For those who can’t make it out to Vegas for the festival, the CW will live stream the event via the CW app and air a two-night television special on October 2 and 3rd at 8PM.
