The Jonas Brothers are heading back to the MTV VMAs. The band announced yesterday they will be returning to the award show for the first time in more than a decade, delivering a special remote performance from an iconic location along the shoreline of their home state, New Jersey. The group is also up for four awards, including video of the year, best pop and song of the year for Sucker and artist of the year. You can catch the boys on the show, August 26 at 8PM.

It’s been four years since pop-rock superstar Adam Lambert released a studio album. Now, after months of teasing and two new singles, the singer is finally ready to give his fans the news they’ve been waiting for. Lambert revealed part one of his two part project, Velvet: Side A, would be released on September 27. No release date yet for the second part. Lambert also shared the track list of the upcoming EP, featuring brand new songs, all of which he co-wrote. One of the new songs of the set, Superpower will be his next single, due out on September 4.

Lizzo goes all out with her tour rider and requests hundreds of chicken wings and expensive alcohol. A source said she’s loving this new popstar status and gets what she wants. At one of her latest gigs, Lizzo asked for bottles of posh vodka, dozens of doughnuts and one of her favs, hundreds of chicken wings. She gets more added each time and she isn’t holding anything back!

Taylor Swift will celebrate the release of her new album Lover on August 23 with an exclusive performance as part of a Town Hall special. The set will include stripped-down versions of songs from the upcoming record as well as a Q&A session will select invitees. The performance will be available on Pandora Stories.

Alessia Cara details the emotions of a summer romance gone cold in her bouncy new single, Rooting for You. The tune immediately caught the attention of one of her heroes, John Mayer, who took to his Instagram story to share the single and gush over the catchy hook. He said he wishes he wrote the song. Rooting for You will appear on Alessia Cara’s upcoming EP, This Summer which drops September 6.

Long before Brie Larson was an Oscar-winning actress and Marvel captain, she made waves as a teen pop punk star. Brie revisited her love for music with a cover of Ariana Grande’s God is a Woman. She shared part of her cover online and she knocked this cover out of the park, sounds great in it. The actress was actually signed back in the mid-2000s, released her debut solo album Finally Out of PE, which had an angsty sound much like Avril Lavigne.
