Steve Aoki’s touch knows no limits. The producer has worked with everyone from Adam Lambert to BTS throughout his career and expanded his repertoire even further into the pop realm recently. His latest collab is with The Backstreet Boys on a track called Let it Be Me. Steve said collaborating with this group that he’s been listening to since he was a kid was such a memorable moment. This song has a beautiful message, overcoming challenges when you love someone and love will always win in the end. Both Steve and the boys think a lot of people will relate to it.

Miley Cyrus unveiled the music video for her power ballad Slide Away last Friday. The emotionally-charged video opens with Miley underwater in a slinky gold dress and matching accessories as she processes moving on in the wake of her split with husband Liam Hemsworth. Several scenes from the video each those from the clip for her hit We Can’t Stop—the hard partying extras—except this time, Miley is full detached from what’s happening around her.
Alessia Cara couldn’t be more grateful to have been a part of Shawn Mendes’ recent global arena tour, which played its final show last week. After the show, Cara took to social media to thank her fellow Canadian pop star for the chance to perform alongside him on 70-plus concert dates. Alessia said his heart is as potent as his ambition and I learned so much from him these last few months, both on and off stage. Performing for another artist’s fans isn’t easy, but Cara said Mendes’ audience welcome her with open arms and genuine love. She won’t be forgetting this tour for a very long time.

Longing for a lover? It’s okay, just dance it out. At least that’s how OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder copes with being lovelorn in the video for the group’s latest release, Wanted. The band dropped the track Friday, which actually sees Tedder telling the tale of a woman’s struggle to find love. Though OneRepublic is clearly telling someone else’s story, Wanted is a sentiment that anyone can relate to. This is OneRepublic’s second single of 2019, following the racing track Rescue Me.
