Three Summer Snacks You Need To Know: Kit Kats, Pineapple Pepsi, and a new collab

Summer isn’t even here yet, but if we can expect more snacks like this?? We can’t wait to see what deliciousness is on the way!! But here are three summer snacks we know are coming (or are already here) that you should plan to snag.

1. We love a good collaboration when it’s two brands we like coming together, like Wendy’s and Pringles. They’ve teamed up on a new flavor that has people really excited: Pringles Wendy’s Baconator chips. The initial flavor goal was to get everything that makes Baconator burger into every chip. And we mean EVERYTHING: Beef, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, ketchup, and mayo. Did they nail it? You’ll have to taste them to find out.

“The Pringles brand delivers insanely accurate flavor combinations that are both delicious and convenient,” explains Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “With such a strong fanbase, we knew we had to nail that fresh, never-frozen Wendy’s flavor perfectly.”

Pringles Baconator is available for a limited time and is hitting stores across the country this month.

2. Last fall, there was a rumor that Hershey’s was working on a Kit Kat Apple Pie flavor and it turns out, the rumor was true and those candy bars are officially coming out this summer. For this variety, the crisp Kit Kat wafers are surrounded in apple pie-flavored white creme. Sounds good, right?

The downside is that these will only be around for a limited time, but you’ll be able to find the bright yellow packages of Kit Kat Apple Pie bars in stores starting in July, just in time for Independence Day, so you won’t have to wait too long to snack a pack!

3. Fans of fruity flavored colas, get ready for a new one from Pepsi. After the launch of berry, lime, and mango Pepsis last year, the soda maker is bringing out another variety to kick off summer: Pineapple Pepsi. It’s the same classic cola in a blue can, but with “a splash of pineapple juice” added.

It’s not the first time Pepsi has gone pineapple, they released one in Japan in 2019, but it’s unclear if this is the same recipe.

Eight packs of Pineapple Pepsi have been spotted at Walmart and they’re also replacing the lime flavor that’s currently out, so if that’s your favorite, you may want to stock up now while you can.
